South Yarra & Surrounds

In the mood for some serious food, drink & people watching? Then South Yarra is the place to be, frequented by the stylish, rich & and sometimes famous. The main streets are made up of Toorak Road and Chapel Street, which are dotted with many chic cafes, restaurants, bars and pubs. Further down Chapel St you will find 'The Jam Factory" which is a large shopping and entertainment complex housing an eight-screen cinema, bars and restaurants including TGI Fridays & The Pancake Parlour.

Keep walking 5 mins down the street and you now come into Prahran, which begins at Commercial Rd. This is another interesting strip with a variety of eateries ranging from Indian, Asian to Modern Australian and some of Melbourne's best alternative bars and nightspots. Running off Chapel Street beside the Prahran Town Hall is where you will find Greville Street, which also has an excellent mix of eateries.
